Aiming for the young dudes
Keeping the box trendy and funky
Andude, a tablet for the youth and young at heart, was introduced into the market to capitalise on the novelty of tablets a few years ago. In keeping with the young, trendy image of the brand, we designed the logo incorporating a hand in the e at the end, with the typical ‘dude’ kind of gesture.
For the packaging, we chose four bright, happy solid colours for the body of the box, each topped by a black lid. Each of the bright areas has a minimalistic impression of a face – the eye and smiling mouth – drawn on it. So when you open the lid of the box, in effect you are opening the mind of the character to reveal the tablet in all its glory. The wavy edges of the lid on both sides contribute another touch of funkiness to the design.
