Connecting the doctor and the product
Keeping conversations simple and relevant
GlaxoSmithKline recently started an initiative called Well Connect to disseminate information on its nutrition and wellness products, primarily Standard Horlicks and Crocin 650, by tele-calling the general practitioners (GP). The intent of tele-calling is to ensure that there is no de-recommendation by the GP and that he or she has top-of-the-mind recall of the GSK products.
While designing the Well Connect logo, we used speech blurbs to represent the conversation between GSK and the GPs. We chose two rectangular speech blurbs which were used to form an approximate cross, the well-recognised symbol of the medical profession. Two shades of blue were used as the logo colours to lend a corporate but soothing tone to the logo.
