PVR Director’s Rare identity gets up there with the classics

PVR Director’s Rare is a novel concept from PVR Cinemas that represents the first ‘classic movie’ exhibition in the country. Here patrons embrace exclusive 7-star gold class comfort and treat their sensibilities to, apart from the classic film, an art gallery, a film art shop and a movie memorabilia and book shop to browse in for hours.

Since ‘simplicity is the glory of expression’, we created a simple yet impactful logo for the concept, using the typical framing-the-view-with-hands gesture associated with movie directors as the creative idea. Used with imagery representing some of the world’s best directors and movies, the collateral products for this business segment of PVR did actually come across as classics, visually.
