Giving Viridian an identity and a brand new font!

When one of our oldest clients expanded and wanted a brand new identity for their group of businesses, they came up with the name Viridian. And wanted their logo to be as original as the pigment was when it was discovered in the 1860s. We went through a serious number of designs over several months before we decided that the originality that the client was seeking demanded that we developed a typeface specifically for the Viridian identity. So our senior designer got to work and came up with a font that we named the Viridian. And, of course, we used the Viridian green colour.

However, we colour coded all the group companies. So each group company had its own brand colour but used the distinct Viridian font to retain its identity as a member of the group.
