This pack beautifully depicts Shaptami, the seventh day, when the Maha Puja starts. This day begins at the crack of dawn with the worship of 'Kaula Bou' or the banana-bride.
People honour the tradition and celebrate it by giving a ceremonial bath to a banana tree and adorn it with a red-bordered white sari and smearing vermilion on its leaves.
